[From the Oct. 2, 1992 Aurora Borealis; colors by Megan. At this point, in my last year at Aurora University, I feel I really peaked artistically and am proudest of this and the following strips. Also note that this is the first time they doubled my space on the page!]

Wow...you're right -- and I don't even watch horror movies!
It must be one of those very visceral type of pattern images - I remember reading something about those types of things in relationship to user interfaces. Humans have very similar pattern-types in their heads and artwork.
